Welcome to CEOP

The University of New Mexico is a remarkable place, with endless opportunities to learn, grow, and discover your potential. For many students, it is also their first experience navigating a new academic environment and all that comes with it. At the College Enrichment & Outreach Programs, our role is to make that environment more accessible, supportive, and student-centered from the very beginning.

We exist to meet students where they are and help them get to where they want to go. For many of the students we serve, college represents a first. The first in their family to attend. The first to navigate a complex system. The first to imagine new possibilities for themselves and their communities. CEOP is here to ensure students have the guidance, resources, and support needed to move forward with confidence.

Our work centers on building trust and momentum early and sustaining it over time. We welcome students and families into the university community, support key transitions, and remain present during the moments when persistence matters most. Along the way, we reduce barriers, strengthen academic pathways, foster belonging, and create opportunities for students to grow as scholars, leaders, and contributors to knowledge and community.

As UNM continues to grow and evolve, CEOP is committed to delivering support that is innovative, responsive, and centered on student success. We are intentional in how we collaborate and ensure students have what they need to persist and finish strong.

To our students, both current and prospective: you belong here, and we are honored to be part of your journey and support you every step of the way. To our campus partners: thank you for your trust, collaboration, and for believing in this work and in the power of education to change lives. Together, we are building an environment where students are supported and able to thrive.

At CEOP, we are not just opening doors. We are helping students walk through them and finish strong! We are excited to see where UNM takes you.

Go Lobos!
